BIG CHALLENGES
Cities are home to an ever-increasing number of social and economic challenges. Historically, these problems have been addressed by governments and non-profits; however, constraints on public finances means that these organizations alone cannot solve big, hairy urban problems. Here at Tumml, we identify and support early-stage entrepreneurs who are tackling our most pressing city challenges.
So what exactly are the most pressing city problems?
We use a framework of ten urban challenges to better understand how our entrepreneurs are helping cities. This paradigm provides a common framework for evaluating and gauging the impact of urban innovators.
